The Recycle Bin provides a safety net that makes it easy to recover files.

When files and folders are deleted, Windows places them in the Recycle Bin. To recover a deleted file from the Recycle Bin follow the instructions listed below.

On the desktop, double-click on the Recycle Bin Right-click on the deleted file to recover from the Recycle Bin, and then click Restore. To recover all deleted files from the Recycle Bin, open the Edit menu and click Select All. Then on the File menu, click Restore.

*If your file has been removed from the Recycle Bin, it can still be recovered. Data recovery software can recover deleted files emptied from the Recycle Bin.
