MySecurityVault Lite Program Updates

If you arrived at this page using the MySecurityVault Lite auto-update feature, there is a newer version of the program available for you to download. Instructions for downloading and installing the update are at the bottom of this page.

If you are wondering what version you currently have installed, you can find the version number on the MySecurityVault Lite help dialog. To access that dialog, right click the MySecurityVault Lite tray icon located near you system clock and select help from the pop-up menu. Or you can open any personal vault and choose help from the main menu.

How to Download and Install the MySecurityVault Lite Update

1. As with all updates, we recommend you back up your vault and key using the Vault's back up feature. This feature is located by running the vault and selecting "Options" and then "back up".
   
   
2. To obtain the update, click on the "free update" button below and then choose "Run" or "Open" when prompted. This will download and begin the new installation.
   
   
3. If you chose to install MySecurityVault Lite to a different location than the default folder, remember to choose that location again when reinstalling.
   
   
4. After the installation is complete, you will be ready to use and enjoy the added security features of MySecurityVault Lite.
   
   

How to Upgrade to MySecurityVault PRO

For added security, you can upgrade to MySecurityVault PRO to get the following additional tool:

Computer Cleaner: After scanning your computer, use the computer cleaner to permanently delete unneeded traces of your personal identity. These traces can expose you to identity theft and with MySecurityVault PRO, you can rest assured that they are permanently deleted.
